Poshan Abhiyaan: 2018-19 to 2020-21
Poshan Abhiyaan, earlier known as the National Nutrition Mission (NNM), was launched in March 2018 to reduce malnutrition in India in a phased manner. The scheme focuses on curbing malnutrition among children aged 0-6 years, adolescent girls, and pregnant and lactating women. This is to be achieved through a three-year, time-bound, life-cycle approach. The scheme involves the use of technology, convergence, behavioural change, training and capacity building.
