Beti Bachao Beti Padhao: 2015-16 to 2020-21
Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP) scheme was launched on 22 January, 2015 with an objective to address discrimination against females, in terms of declining child sex ratio. The scheme attempts to address issues of empowerment of girls and women over a life cycle continuum. The scheme is being implemented in all districts of the country.
